Hi! I’m Kati! I have never, in my life, missed an opportunity to have shaved ice. For as long as I can remember I would prefer it to any other frozen sweet treat. My husband and I have even been known to drive an hour and a half just to get it. It was not just any shaved ice though… it was really good shaved ice.
Not all frozen water topped with syrup is the same! TRUST ME! About a year ago I told my husband that we should open a shaved ice business. He looked at me and said “YES! You should!” So here I am, the proud owner of The Icebox! We are a mobile business (not a food truck) located in Encinitas, Ca. We love being mobile because it allows us the opportunity to travel all over southern California spreading JOY through the BEST shaved ice!
We pride ourselves in having not only the best tasting ice but also the best tasting syrups! Come try one (or more) of our 49 flavors and let us know what you think! No high fructose corn syrup here! We also have the most incredible toppings! Shaved ice with toppings? Yes! Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it!!!

We found The ICEBOX during the Encinitas Spring Fair. My daughters LOVE shaved ice. Like, it’s their number one favorite treat. So when we saw their stand, we had to stop. I have never seen such a fun, delicious, unique menu before. I’m talking sprinkles, whip cream, edible glitter. I tried the Magic Unicorn and my husband had the FOMO. We LOVED them. My daughters were able to choose as many flavors as they wanted and they accommodated last minute requests. The ICEBOX is our new favorite shaved ice. I can’t wait to have them out for my daughter’s birthday party.
